As we all work to protect our families, colleagues, and communities during the novel Coronavirus / COVID-19 outbreak, I want to share a message of support and let you know about FieldStack’s response to the situation.

Customer Support

Our operations team and client support functions are equipped to operate with full functionality in both our office and work-from-home environments. All of our support operations continue to be available via our regular channels. 

Information Technology

For years, our infrastructure has allowed FieldStack to operate and monitor our platform in-office and remotely. This means that even though the majority of our staff will not physically be working in our offices, you will not notice any change in performance. 

Helping our Clients Adapt

We are all facing a new reality that is already impacting, and that will continue to impact, the retail industry. I want you to know that FieldStack is your partner in this.

As part of your existing service, we are monitoring FieldStack’s forecasting as it addresses your unique product and customer mix during this dynamic time. If your cash flow needs change over the coming weeks – or your business chooses to adapt by targeting goods that you don’t normally target, we are here to help advise you and help you navigate those changes. 

Additionally, we have added ecommerce functionality to FieldStack that can be implemented within your account as needed:

  • Buy online pick up in-store (BOPIS). This native FieldStack feature is a great way to keep your staff and customers safe while keeping commerce flowing. If you haven’t enabled it already, the feature allows your customers to shop at your store and minimize contact with staff and other patrons.
  • Same day delivery. Social distancing is even more possible when merchants can offer customers this service. If you are not using this feature today, and you’d like to turn it on, please contact us. FieldStack is more than ready to help you take advantage of this powerful functionality.

About Our Workplace Action Plans

The safety and wellbeing of our employees are critical to us at FieldStack. Our Executive Leadership Team meets daily to share information across all functional areas and ensure consolidated action and communications. We share updates within the company daily, including reminders about preventative personal health measures, resources, and any policy changes or updates based on the latest information.

To ensure the safety of our team, we have paused all business travel and in-person vendor meetings, and we have encouraged all team members to work from home through the end of the month. We will continue to review these policies and update them as we receive new information. 

Transparency is a core value at FieldStack. As such, we will update you with any new information as we have it. And we are always available to answer any questions that arise on your end.

Even as markets whipsaw and social distancing make life more challenging for us all, retail remains the engine that drives our economy. And we are here to help you keep that engine running—and healthy.
