Technical Account Manager

Our software and services are the primary tools that our clients use to run their businesses. And it is our job to make sure our software and services adapt to our client’s changing needs. Technical account managers at FieldStack help make sure our client’s needs are being addressed and that they are using the system to its full potential.


  • Develop relationships with client and be the first-line interface between them and FieldStack as you will be their trusted advisor.

  • Review open requests and communicate with appropriate groups within FieldStack to make sure all requests are being handled appropriately.

  • Measure and report on customer success by meeting with key client stakeholders to understand their challenges and goals and how we can help them meet those challenges and goals and deliver measurable results via data analytics.

  • Work with clients to identify unrealized needs and recommend solutions to help clients maximize effectiveness of our systems.

  • Utilize internal resources to diagnose and resolve technical and process issues.

  • Communicate new system enhancements and plan and assist in rolling out those new enhancements to client.

  • Provide client feedback to product management.

  • Other responsibilities as assigned.


  • Excellent verbal and listening communication skills – will have direct customer contact with C-level executives.

  • Excellent written communication skills.

  • 5+ years’ experience in a technology based business, preferably in the retail sector.

  • Experience in technical support, technical sales, project management and consultancy.

  • Experience with writing and executing SQL queries and report writing.
  • Familiarity with relational databases.

  • Familiarity with programming and Web technologies a plus.

  • A commitment to achievement of successful outcomes by “doing.”

  • Ability to work in a fast-pace environment to minimize problem impacts on clients.

  • Proficient with MS Office Suite.

  • Occasional travel.

  • Rotating after-hours on-call responsibility.
